Dr. Leyva holds a degree in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and is a licensed clinical psychologist in California. He completed clinical training in outpatient, intensive inpatient, school-based, and residential settings. Dr. Leyva served multicultural clients presenting with a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, chronic pain, stress, and relational issues, from children to elder adults. Dr. Leyva speaks Spanish and provides clinical and assessment services in Spanish and English.

In addition to his work as a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Leyva has worked as an adjunct professor for the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University, teaching for their Master of Arts in Psychology Program, as well as providing training for child welfare workers in Northern and Southern California.
