Dr. Janelle C. van der Linde, is a Psychology Associate. She graduated from Palo Alto
University (PAU)in Palo Alto, California, with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology,
emphasis on LGBTQ studies. She is a member of the American Psychological Association
(APA). Dr. van der Linde completed APA-approved pre-doctoral internships at Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC), Lifemoves , and StarVista . She brings experience working with diverse children, adolescents, adults, and families in Bay Area communities, schools, and residential environments.
Dr. van der Linde conducts neuropsychological assessments for individuals across the lifespan. During her training, she has provided comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention for a broad range of conditions associated with anxiety, depression, learning
disabilities, trauma, PTSD, developmental disorders, autism spectrum, gender dysphoria, and
attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD). Dr. van der Linde also provides evidence-based psychotherapy to adolescents, and adults experiencing emotional grief, loss, depression, and anxiety due to trauma, relationship conflict, parent-child attachment, or difficult life transitions. Using a warm, compassionate approach, Dr. van der Linde collaborates with her clients in identifying, understanding, and relating to their internal selves, to ease pain and find hope through change.
Dr. van der Linde is originally from Pennsylvania. She enjoys playing tennis, cycling indoors, walking on the beach with her dog, reading best-sellers, and traveling with her husband and two adult children.
